Q. How can I get a hold of my child while they’re in Israel?
A. All participants have the option to rent phones or sim cards which can be ordered in advance of the trip. Many phone companies now offer international data plans which can be used in Israel.
Q. Will Hillel contact me if there is an emergency?
A. Each participant is required to provide emergency contact information. In the case of an emergency, we will contact those listed on their application. Please note, flight delays are not considered emergencies, and it is up to each individual participant to communicate with their families as preferred.
Q. What’s the application process like? Can I register my kid for a Birthright trip?
A. Please visit our application how to page. Each participant must register for themselves and complete the one-on-one conversation to be offered a spot.

Q. Will there be a way to see photos of my child while they are in Israel?
A. Participants will have regular access to wifi so they can share their photos with you via e-mail or social media. You can also follow us on social media (Facebook, Instagram).
Q. Can my child leave the trip to visit family in Israel?
A. At no time may a participant leave the group during the trip. However, family members may visit participants at the hotel during downtime.
